about

Matteo Boyero and the People Inside my Computer presents “Les Robots de Mono”,
an eclectic and fruity 6 track LP inspired and created by various artists from the Wahever vaults.

The first track “Oceans may be still” features the first appearance of the young and gifted Lisa Samuel from Hackney. In one improvised take, here is her solar voice over some loops of warm percussion played by the honorable Alex Dayo (Zantogola, Wountey).

“Harsimar” was made with the mystic souls of Makindu. In the foreground are Shreya Rai’s enchanting voice and Tim Wall’s jazzy clarinet, in the background loops of tabla by Randeep Bilkhu and double bass by Robin Hemmings.

“Outside In” is an homage to the Joy of Sound, a luminous charity promoting social inclusion through music. It contains samples taken from some of their videos and features Nick Onley’s cosmic sax and Tim Wall’s playful clarinet.

“Too hot to work” is co-produced with the legendary techno producer Darc Marc (Stay up Forever). He’s telling us it’s... well... too hot to work, while David Kemp plays his mysterious saxophone.

“Adventure Park” samples Kingsmead Adventure Park’s piano with a few words from our sweet and elegant Auntie Lesley.
